Module atténuateur Behringer CP35 — module atténuateur pour synthétiseur modulaire

Behringer CP35 Attenuators is a compact modular synthesizer attenuator module designed for Eurorack-style systems. It reduces the amplitude of audio signals and control voltages, enabling precise level matching between modules and finer control over modulation depths. The module is intended for use in patching situations where trimming signal strength or adjusting voltage ranges for oscillators, filters and effects is required.

Advantages

The CP35 provides stable and continuous attenuation with a simple control layout that supports quick adjustments during performance or patching sessions. Its design maintains signal integrity while offering predictable reduction of amplitude for both audio and CV paths. The module occupies minimal rack space and integrates seamlessly with standard modular power and signal conventions.

Suitable for

• Level matching between oscillators, filters and effects
• Reducing modulation depth of LFOs and envelopes
• Attenuating audio signals to prevent clipping in downstream modules
• Patching and experimenting with modular signal routing

Key specifications

• Function: continuous attenuation for audio and control voltages
• Form factor: Eurorack-compatible module
• Control type: front-panel attenuation knob(s) for precise level control
• Signal paths: suitable for both audio and CV signals
• Mounting: standard modular panel mounting

How to use

Patch the input signal into the module input and route the attenuated output to the target module. Turn the front-panel control to reduce the signal level until the desired amplitude or modulation depth is reached. Use the CP35 to fine-tune levels when combining signals, driving filters, or preparing audio for effects to avoid overload and achieve consistent response across modules.

Recommendations

Monitor output levels when attenuating signals to avoid unintended DC offsets or tracking issues with sensitive control voltage sources. When using with audio signals, start with greater attenuation and increase gradually to find the appropriate balance and prevent clipping in downstream modules.
