Nipple fileté Metabo 628801000

The Metabo 628801000 threaded nipple is an adapter for water pump connections, providing a 1.5" connector on one end and a 2" connector on the other. It is intended to join hoses, fittings or pump outlets with different diameters to maintain a stable water flow. Constructed for mechanical compatibility with standard pump threads, this accessory supports reliable water transfer in domestic and light industrial applications.

Advantages

This threaded nipple delivers a secure mechanical connection between different-sized pump fittings without requiring additional tools for a permanent modification. Its construction resists wear from repeated assembly and disassembly, helping to reduce leakage risk at the joint. The adapter’s straightforward design simplifies configuration of existing pump systems and minimizes the need for custom hoses or threaded conversions.

Suitable for

• Connecting a 1.5" hose or fitting to a 2" pump outlet
• Temporary or semi-permanent assembly of garden and utility water pumps
• Maintenance tasks where adapting between different thread sizes is required
• Small irrigation setups and water transfer applications

Key specifications

• Connector sizes: one end 1.5" and the other end 2"
• Threaded coupling type compatible with standard pump and hose threads
• Durable metal construction suitable for repeated use
• Designed for water transfer applications

How to use

Firmly hand-tighten the threaded nipple into the pump outlet or hose fitting matching one of the connector sizes, then attach the mating hose or fitting to the opposite end. Ensure thread engagement is correct before applying system pressure. If applicable, use an appropriate sealing material rated for water systems to improve leak resistance. Do not overtighten with tools; secure the connection to the point of snugness recommended by the pump manufacturer.

Recommendations

Inspect threads for damage before installation and replace the nipple if signs of wear or cross-threading appear. Use the adapter within the pressure and temperature limits of the pump and hoses in your system. For prolonged outdoor use, check connections periodically for corrosion or leaks and service as needed.
