Panneau de brassage 1U Dexlan 754720

The Dexlan 754720 is a 1U rack-mountable patch panel designed for RJ-45 connectors. Constructed from durable metal and finished in black, this compact unit measures 210 mm in width, 45 mm in height and 78 mm in depth. It is intended to organize and terminate Ethernet cables within server racks and wall-mounted enclosures, providing a tidy front-facing interface for network ports while protecting terminations behind the panel.

Advantages

The metal construction provides mechanical strength and grounding potential while the slim 1U profile saves vertical rack space. A clean black finish reduces visual clutter in rack rows and the standardized RJ-45 interface supports straightforward termination and patching workflows. The compact footprint and precise cutouts allow for efficient cable routing and port labeling in mixed network environments.

How to use

Mount the panel in a standard 19-inch equipment rack at a chosen 1U position using appropriate rack screws. Terminate individual Ethernet cables onto the rear-side contacts or punch-down blocks according to the wiring standard in use (for example T568A or T568B), then route patch cords to network switches or devices from the front RJ-45 ports. Label ports as required to maintain clear identification. Ensure grounding and cable strain relief are applied following site cabling practices.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use compatible RJ-45 patch cords and follow industry cabling standards when terminating. Maintain bend radius on cables, avoid excessive tension on terminations, and secure the panel to the rack to prevent movement. In multi-panel installations, plan port labeling and cable management to simplify future changes.
