Panneau de brassage 1U Lanberg PPF5-9012-S

The Lanberg PPF5-9012-S is a 1U patch panel for structured cabling in 10" rack cabinets. This passive metal unit provides termination and organization for twisted-pair cables and is intended for use in main and secondary distribution points of fast telecommunications systems. It is equipped with 12 shielded RJ-45 ports compatible with Cat5 and Cat5e cabling and uses IDC/LSA connectors for reliable connections.

Advantages

The patch panel offers a compact 1U design (215 mm × 44.5 mm × 130 mm) that saves rack space while providing a durable metal construction and grey finish. Shielded RJ-45 ports improve noise immunity for shielded twisted-pair cables, and IDC/LSA termination enables fast, tool-assisted installation and maintenance. With 12 ports it is suitable for small racks and distribution points where organized cable management is required.

Suitable for

• Rack-mounted network cabinets and server rooms
• Main and secondary distribution frames in telecommunications systems
• Organising and terminating Cat5/Cat5e twisted-pair cabling
• Small to medium network racks requiring 12-port patching

How to use

Mount the patch panel in a 10" rack cabinet using standard rack screws. Route shielded Cat5/Cat5e twisted-pair cables to the rear of the panel and terminate each conductor with the IDC/LSA connectors following the colour code. Secure cable management with ties or guides to avoid strain on terminations. Use the front RJ-45 ports to connect patch cords between network devices and switches for organized patching.

Recommendations

For best performance, use shielded Cat5e cables with compatible shielded patch cords and maintain proper grounding of the rack and panel. Verify terminations with a cable tester after installation and avoid excessive cable bend radii near the panel.
