Panneau de brassage EFB Elektronik 37656.1

The EFB Elektronik 37656.1 patch panel is a 1U rack-mount panel that provides 24 fully shielded RJ45 jacks for structured network cabling. Built with a metal housing in RAL9005 (black) and compatible with Cat6a cable types, it measures 482.6 mm (W) x 44.5 mm (H) x 109 mm (D) and includes 8-pole IDC terminals plus TIA 568 A/B colour coding for orderly cable termination.

Advantages

This patch panel offers a robust metal construction suitable for professional rack installations, full shielding on all 24 RJ45 ports to reduce electromagnetic interference, and standardised 8-pole IDC terminations with TIA 568 A/B colour coding for consistent, reliable connections. Its 1U form factor fits standard 19-inch racks and supports Cat6a performance requirements.

Suitable for

• Data centre and server room rack installations
• Structured cabling in office networks
• Cat6a network deployments requiring shielded terminations

How to use

Mount the patch panel into a standard 19-inch rack using appropriate rack screws. Terminate incoming shielded Cat6a cables to the 8-pole IDC terminals following the TIA 568 A or B colour code as required by your installation. Plug patch cords into the front RJ45 jacks to connect equipment in the rack to the structured cabling. Ensure shield continuity by correctly grounding the panel and using shielded patch cords where required.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use shielded Cat6a cables and maintain correct grounding of the rack and patch panel. Follow TIA 568 A/B wiring consistently across the installation and test each port after termination with an appropriate cable tester to verify performance and shielding integrity.
