How to use

Plug the timer into a suitable DE mains outlet and connect the appliance to the childproof socket. Open the transparent protective cover to access the control dial and programming switches. Set the required on/off intervals using the timer segments or programming interface according to the device instructions, ensuring the total number of switching events does not exceed 96 per day. Close the protective cover to maintain IP44 protection. Always verify that the connected device does not exceed the 16 A nominal current rating.

Recommendations

Do not use the timer where it would be constantly submerged or exposed to heavy rain; IP44 protects against splashes and water jets but not continuous immersion. For permanently wet locations choose devices with higher ingress protection. Regularly inspect the cover and socket for damage and ensure the connected load stays within the specified 16 A limit.
