The EFB Elektronik 691609VGR.50 is a 9U wall mounted rack designed for compact indoor installations where space efficiency and secure mounting are required. With external dimensions of 600 mm width, 500 mm depth and 465 mm height, this grey cabinet accommodates small network switches, patch panels and other 19-inch compatible equipment while maintaining a low visual profile. The IP20 protection rating classifies it for indoor environments where protection from solid objects greater than 12 mm is required but no special moisture protection is necessary.

This wall mounted rack provides stable support for up to 40 kg of installed equipment and saves floor space by attaching directly to a wall. Its compact footprint and neutral grey finish allow integration into office, server closet or communication room environments without dominating the room. • Cabinetized connections in comms closets or utility rooms
• Mounting network switches, patch panels and routers
• Housing low-weight servers, media converters and power supplies within 40 kg limit

How to use

Secure the cabinet to a suitable load-bearing wall using appropriate anchors and fixings for the wall material, ensuring the mounting can safely support the combined cabinet and equipment weight. Install 19-inch mounting rails and position devices according to weight distribution recommendations, placing heavier units lower in the cabinet. Route cabling through available openings and secure with cable management accessories; maintain ventilation clearances and avoid placing the cabinet in areas with high humidity or exposure to liquids because of the IP20 rating.

Recommendations

Verify total equipment weight before installation to ensure it does not exceed the 40 kg maximum. Use appropriate ventilation and plan cable runs to prevent overheating. For installations requiring dust or moisture resistance beyond IP20, consider alternative enclosures or environmental controls.
