Rack mural Extralink 4U 600x450 noir

The Extralink 4U 600x450 Black wall mounted rack is a compact cabinet for mounting network equipment, switches, patch panels and small servers. It provides 4U of usable rack space in a 280 mm high enclosure with a 600 mm width and 450 mm depth. The cabinet is made from cold-rolled steel with a tempered glass front door that can be opened to the left or right. Vertical rails are clearly marked with U units, and the ceiling includes provisions for two fans and a cable access conduit. A key lock and removable side panels with snap fasteners are included for secure, easy access and maintenance.

Advantages

The cabinet's compact 4U form factor is suitable for wall mounting where floor space is limited. Tempered glass front door allows visual inspection of equipment without opening the cabinet while offering mechanical protection. Marked vertical rails simplify installation and positioning of rack-mounted devices. Removable side panels and included locks and keys make routine maintenance and physical security straightforward. The integrated ceiling openings for fans and cable conduit improve airflow management and cable routing.

Suitable for

• Small office network racks and patch panels

Use the ceiling cutouts to install up to two fans if additional cooling is required and route cables through the dedicated conduit. Remove side panels with the snap fasteners when accessing internal components for maintenance. Lock the front door with the supplied key to secure installed devices.

Recommendations

To ensure safe operation and longevity, do not exceed the recommended 20 kg load, distribute weight evenly across the rails, provide adequate airflow with the optional fans for heat-generating devices, and use proper cable management to prevent strain on connectors. Verify wall mounting hardware is suitable for your wall type and periodically check fasteners and locks for tightness.
