The mouse performs best on a clean, flat surface or a low-friction mouse pad. To preserve battery life, switch the device off when not in use for extended periods and keep the USB receiver in a safe place to avoid loss. For consistent performance, maintain a clear line of sight between the mouse and the receiver and replace batteries when cursor responsiveness decreases.
