Testeur de câble Equip 129967

The equip® Cable Tester (model 129967) is a compact handheld device for diagnosing network, modular (RJ) and USB cable wiring. It includes a master and a remote unit with LED indicators on both parts, allowing quick visual checks of connection status and wiring order. The remote unit attaches to the master for convenient transport and protection.

Advantages

The tester is lightweight and small (112 × 99 × 20 mm), suitable for field use and storage. LED displays on both master and remote make it simple to read pin-by-pin results. The attachable remote protects the unit during transport and keeps both parts together, reducing the risk of loss. Its straightforward operation provides fast identification of open, shorted or miswired conductors.

Suitable for

• Testing Ethernet/network cables (modular/RJ cables)
• Checking USB cable wiring and continuity
• On-site troubleshooting by technicians and installers
• DIY cable checks in home or small office environments

Key specifications

• Brand: EQUIP
• Model / MPN: 129967
• EAN: 4015867207529
• Dimensions: 112 × 99 × 20 mm
• Units: master and remote with LED indicators
• Supported cable types: network/modular (RJ) and USB cables

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the master unit and the other end to the remote unit (or to the appropriate connectors on each unit). Power the tester if required and observe the LED sequence on both the master and remote to determine continuity, open circuits, shorts, or miswiring. Compare the LED pattern to the expected pin order to identify faults. After testing, attach the remote to the master for storage and transport.

Recommendations

For reliable results, ensure connectors are clean and fully seated before testing. Use the tester in dry conditions and store it with the remote attached to avoid damage. If testing long runs, be aware that very long cables may affect signal detection—test in segments if necessary.
