Ventilateur CPU SILVERSTONE SST-XED120S-WS pour Intel LGA 4677, format serveur 4U, argent

SILVERSTONE SST-XED120S-WS is a CPU cooler engineered for Intel LGA 4677 sockets and for installation in 4U server chassis. It is designed to fit systems where vertical space is limited while providing continuous processor heat dissipation suitable for server and workstation environments. The cooler’s dimensions and mounting approach are intended to simplify fitting into rack or tower 4U enclosures and to support regulated CPU temperatures during sustained workloads.

Advantages

The cooler combines a low-profile 4U form factor with a mounting solution tailored to Intel LGA 4677, allowing compatibility with modern server processors while minimizing height. Its construction focuses on efficient heat transfer and airflow management appropriate for confined chassis. The design supports continuous operation in server and workstation use cases and aims to offer reliable thermal performance under prolonged load conditions.

Suitable for

• Rack-mounted 4U servers where vertical clearance is limited
• Workstation builds that require Intel LGA 4677 compatibility in a 4U enclosure
• Environments with continuous, sustained CPU loads such as virtualization and compute tasks
• Systems requiring a low-profile cooler for effective airflow within a 4U chassis

Key specifications

• Socket compatibility: Intel LGA 4677
• Form factor: Low-profile 4U server cooler
• Intended use: Server and workstation thermal management
• Mounting: 4U chassis compatible mounting system
• Thermal design focus: Continuous heat dissipation under sustained loads

How to use

Position the cooler over the CPU area in a compatible 4U chassis and secure it using the enclosure’s mounting points designed for this form factor. Apply thermal interface material to the processor surface before seating the cooler to ensure optimal thermal contact. Connect the cooler’s fan power cable to the motherboard or server fan header and verify fan control settings in the system firmware or management software. After installation, monitor temperatures during the initial operation to confirm adequate cooling and adjust chassis airflow if necessary.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, ensure the 4U chassis provides sufficient front-to-back airflow and that intake and exhaust paths are unobstructed. Maintain regular dust cleaning intervals and verify fan operation under typical workload conditions to preserve consistent thermal performance.
