Bachmann PDU IT Basic 19 pouces 5 sorties AC 1U Type J câble 2m

The Bachmann 19" IT Basic PDU 5 AC outlets 1U Type J 2m cable is a compact rack-mountable power distribution unit designed for 19-inch cabinets. It delivers five AC outlets in a 1U form factor with a fixed 2 m power cable and integrated over voltage protection, enabling centralized power feeding for network, server and telecommunications equipment in small to medium IT cabinets.

Advantages

This PDU provides a space-saving 1U design that fits standard 19" racks and offers five accessible AC outlets of Type J. The integrated over voltage protection helps reduce the risk of damage to connected devices from voltage spikes. A 2 m cable simplifies installation to nearby power sources without requiring additional extension cords. The unit is built for stable, everyday power distribution in professional IT environments where predictable outlet layout and protection are needed.

Suitable for

• Small server racks and network cabinets
• Telecommunications equipment in office or data-closet environments
• Workstation clusters and edge computing enclosures
• Powering routers, switches, modems and small UPS units

Key specifications

• Form factor: 1U rack-mountable unit for 19" cabinets
• Number of outlets: 5 AC outlets
• Outlet type: Type J
• Cable: Fixed 2 m mains cable
• Protection: Over voltage protection included

How to use

Mount the PDU in a 19" rack using the front mounting position provided by the unit. Connect the fixed 2 m cable to a suitable mains supply that matches the local voltage and outlet configuration. Plug equipment into the five Type J AC outlets, ensuring total connected load does not exceed the electrical ratings of the cabinet supply. Observe standard safety practices: power down connected devices before performing installation changes and avoid overloading the unit.

Recommendations

Position the PDU in the lower or middle section of the rack to optimize cable routing and airflow. Use the PDU for distributing power to non-critical devices or at the rack edge where simple over voltage protection is required. For high-availability or metered power distribution needs, consider using a PDU with monitoring or switched outlets instead.
