Câble SATA DeLOCK 1 m SATA III 83843

The DeLOCK 1m SATA III 83843 cable is an ultra-flexible internal SATA cable designed for connecting SATA devices with 7-pin connectors. With a length of 1 meter and a black finish, it supports data transfer rates up to 6 Gb/s and is backwards compatible with earlier SATA versions. The cable features short, bendable connectors and metal clips for reliable latching, making it suitable for installations in tight chassis spaces.

Advantages

The ultra-flexible construction allows the cable to be bent, kinked or routed in confined spaces without using angled connectors. Short connector housings increase maneuverability in compact builds, while metal clips ensure secure connections. The cable’s robust design reduces the risk of breakage or material fatigue, maintaining reliable performance at SATA III speeds of up to 6 Gb/s.

Suitable for

• Connecting 2.5" and 3.5" HDDs and SSDs inside desktop and server chassis
• PC builds with limited internal space or crowded drive bays
• Upgrading storage devices while keeping neat cable routing

Key specifications

• Cable type: SATA III
• Cable length: 1 m
• Connectors: SATA 7-pin to SATA 7-pin
• Data rate: up to 6 Gb/s (backwards compatible)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one 7-pin SATA plug to the motherboard or host controller and the other 7-pin plug to the SATA device (HDD or SSD). Ensure the metal clip on the connector audibly clicks into the device’s port for a secure connection. Route the cable through available chassis openings, bending as needed to fit tight spaces while avoiding sharp edges that could damage the cable.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, avoid excessive mechanical stress at the connector ends and keep the cable clear of moving parts and hot components. Use proper grounding and power sequencing when installing drives to prevent data corruption.
