Câble SATA DeLOCK 82479 0,5 m jaune

This DeLOCK SATA cable 82479 (0.5 m, yellow) allows connection between SATA devices such as SATA hard drives and SATA controllers. The cable follows the SATA II specification and supports data transfer rates up to 3 Gbps. Metal clips on the SATA connectors provide additional snap-in retention, and when connected to a HDD the cable is oriented downwards from the connector.

Advantages

The cable conforms to SATA II standards and supports up to 3 Gbps transfer speed. Its 0.5 m length offers compact routing inside a PC, while the bright yellow colour simplifies identification among other internal cables. Metal retention clips on both connectors help secure stable connections.

Suitable for

• Internal connection of SATA hard drives (HDD) and solid-state drives (SSD)
• Connecting SATA controller cards to storage devices
• Cable routing in compact PC cases where a 0.5 m cable is sufficient

Key specifications

• SATA specification: SATA II
• Data transfer rate: up to 3 Gbps
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Product colour: Yellow
• Connectors: one down (angled) and one straight SATA connector with metal clips

How to use

Connect the straight SATA connector to the SATA port on the motherboard or controller and plug the angled (down) connector into the drive so the cable exits downwards. Ensure the metal clips snap into place to secure each connection. Route the cable to avoid interference with fans and other components, and connect the drive to power using a compatible SATA power cable.

Recommendations

Use this 0.5 m cable for short internal connections where a clearly visible coloured cable is helpful for cable management. Avoid bending the connectors sharply and keep the cable away from moving parts and heat sources to maintain reliable data transfer.
