Carte riser PCI Express x16 DeLOCK 41982

The DeLOCK Riser Card PCI Express x16 (model 41982) enables horizontal installation of a PCI Express x16 card where vertical mounting is not possible. It provides a PCIe host interface and PCIe x16 output interface and supports left insertion with a slot height of 53.9 mm. The card is intended for use in rack-mount or compact enclosures that require a displaced PCIe slot to accommodate space constraints.

Advantages

This riser card converts a PCI Express x16 connection to an x16 output while allowing a horizontal board orientation. The specified slot height of 53.9 mm permits installation in shallow or non-standard chassis. The product is supplied in polybag packaging and is compatible with standard PCIe x16 cards when routed to the appropriate slot and connector.

Suitable for

• Rack-mount servers and cases with limited vertical space
• Small form-factor or compact PC enclosures
• Systems requiring horizontal installation of a PCIe x16 expansion card

How to use

Install the riser card into the host PCIe connector according to the system’s service manual, ensuring the card is aligned for left insertion and that the 53.9 mm slot height is compatible with the chassis. Secure the connected PCIe x16 card in the horizontal position as required by the enclosure, and verify all connections before powering the system. Follow anti-static precautions and confirm that the motherboard BIOS or system firmware recognises the expanded slot if needed.

Recommendations

Verify mechanical clearance and connector alignment before installation. Use this riser in systems where a horizontal PCIe x16 orientation is required and ensure compatibility with the specific PCIe card and chassis layout to avoid mechanical or electrical conflicts.
