Foret à centrer Bosch 2 608 900 593, 1 pièce

EXPERT HEX-9 HardCeramic Drill Bit for Long Life Drilling Hard Tiles. The Bosch EXPERT HEX-9 HardCeramic drill bit is engineered to drill hard ceramic wall tiles and large-format tiles without the need for lubricant or cooling. Built to withstand the increased demands of modern, harder tiles, this centering drill bit ensures precise hole placement and extended service life compared with standard tile bits.

Advantages

The EXPERT HEX-9 HardCeramic bit delivers long wear life when dry-drilling hard ceramics and maintains centre stability for accurate positioning. Its design reduces the need for cooling or lubricant and offers improved durability versus benchmark tile drill bits, making it suitable for repeated professional use.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Drilling holes in hard wall and floor ceramic tiles
• Working with large-format and extra-hard tiles
• Precise centring for fixtures, anchors and fittings

Key specifications

• Brand: Bosch
• Model / MPN: 2 608 900 593 (2608900593)
• EAN: 6949509232458
• Type: Centering drill bit for ceramic tiles
• Diameter: 1 cm
• Suitable for dry drilling hard ceramics

How to use

Mark the drill position and secure the tile. Use the centering drill bit in a drill with suitable speed for ceramic materials, applying steady, moderate pressure. Start drilling slowly to establish the centre, then continue at recommended speed for the tile type. No lubricant or cooling is required for hard ceramic tiles when using this HardCeramic bit; pause periodically if the bit or tile shows signs of overheating.

Recommendations

Use protective eyewear and gloves. For best results, clamp tiles or hold them on a stable surface, and test drill on a spare tile to determine optimal speed settings. Replace the bit if wear compromises centring accuracy.
