Grattoir à main Bahco 474-125-0.60

The Bahco 474-125-0.60 hand scraper is a compact, lightweight scraping tool built for precision removal of paint, adhesives, sealants and other surface residues. Weighing approximately 60 g, this hand scraper combines a slim profile with a durable blade geometry to deliver controlled material removal on metal, wood, glass and painted surfaces. Its size and balance prioritize fine control for detail work and tasks where careful surface preparation is required.

Advantages

The tool offers a low weight that reduces user fatigue during extended use and improves maneuverability in tight areas. The blade is engineered for effective scraping performance across multiple materials while maintaining edge stability. The compact form factor allows for precise pressure application and good tactile feedback, supporting accurate results on delicate or small surfaces.

Suitable for

• Precision paint and varnish removal from small areas
• Cleaning adhesive and sealant residues
• Surface preparation on metal, wood or glass before finishing
• Detail work in automotive, carpentry and renovation tasks

Key specifications

• Tool type: handheld scraper for manual scraping
• Weight: approximately 60 grams for reduced fatigue
• Blade: durable scraping blade designed for repeated use
• Size: compact profile for precision and access to confined areas
• Ergonomics: balanced shape for fine control and tactile feedback

How to use

Hold the hand scraper with a firm but comfortable grip and position the blade at a shallow angle to the surface. Apply steady, even pressure and move the blade in the direction that allows material to lift away from the substrate. For painted or delicate surfaces, start with light passes to assess blade aggressiveness and increase pressure gradually only as needed. Replace or sharpen the blade as wear becomes apparent to maintain efficient scraping performance and avoid surface damage.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves when scraping. Test the scraper on an inconspicuous area before full-scale use on delicate finishes. Store the tool in a dry place and keep the blade covered or retracted when not in use to preserve edge condition and ensure safe handling.
