Panneau de brassage EFB Elektronik 37736.8

The EFB Elektronik 37736.8 patch panel is a 1U rack-mountable unit designed for orderly cable termination and distribution in network racks. It supports Cat6 cabling and is rated for data transfer speeds up to 5000 Mbit/s, allowing straightforward integration into small to medium-sized Ethernet infrastructures. The unit is finished in grey and features eight ports for structured wiring and simplified port management.

Advantages

This patch panel provides a compact, rack-friendly way to terminate Cat6 cables, reducing cable clutter and improving access to network ports. Its support for 22/24 AWG conductor sizes ensures compatibility with standard network cabling. The grey finish and 1U height allow it to blend with common rack equipment while preserving space for additional modules.

Suitable for

• Small office and home network racks that require Cat6 terminations
• Patching and organizing network connections in server rooms or telecom cabinets
• Integration into structured cabling systems for workgroups or departmental networks
• Retrofit or expansion projects where additional eight-port panels are needed

Key specifications

• Ports quantity: 8
• Compatible cable category: Cat6
• Maximum data transfer rate: 5000 Mbit/s
• Supported conductor sizes: AWG 22/24
• Mounting type: 1U rack-mountable
• Product colour: Grey

How to use

Mount the patch panel into a standard 19-inch equipment rack using the supplied or appropriate rack screws, occupying a single rack unit. Terminate Cat6 cables onto the rear IDC or punch-down points following the T568A or T568B wiring standard as required for your network. Route and secure patch cables from the front ports to switches or routers, and label ports for clear identification. Verify connectivity and link speed after installation using appropriate network test tools.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use quality Cat6 cables and adhere to recommended bend radii and cable management practices. Keep cable lengths within standard Ethernet limits and avoid running network cabling parallel to high-voltage power lines to minimize interference.
